The City of Richmond Arts and Culture Program, using the percent-for-arts funds from Port improvements, sponsored the original sculpture. The artists, Jeffrey Reed + Jennifer Madden, donated two-years to its making.  Stephen Heinen was a supporting artist. The lighting and program designers were Peter Tjeerdsma, Mauricio Bustos and Christopher Schardt.

Local businesses who donated to the installation and opening include: Trans Bay Steel, Cima Landscape, Sunshine Commercial Construction, Cresco Equipment Rentals, R&B Cellars, The Craneway, and Suzie Hardt.

Contributors to the interactive lighting, sound and motion improvements will be permanently acknowledged  here. Thank you all!
